Actor Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode on June 14. The 34-year-old actor was found hanging at his apartment in Bandra. After his death, the police took initial action and called it a case of suicide. And in the initial postmortem report too, Sushant’s death was described as a suicide. 

Now, Mumbai police have received the final post-mortem report in actor Sushant’s suicide case. According to the report, the cause of death has been identified as ‘asphyxia due to hanging’. The actor’s viscera has been preserved and sent for chemical analysis. The provision post-mortem report was given by three doctors, but five doctors signed off the final report. Much investigation has been done while preparing this report.

According to the report, there were no struggle marks or external injuries on Sushant’s body and his nails were also clean. The postmortem report says it is a clear case of suicide and no other foul play.

The Mumbai Police have also made many revelations in its action. Previously Sushant’s death was linked to the demise of former manager Disha Salian. But the police have now denied any such connection. According to the police, Disha had met Sushant only once, so this connection cannot be taken into consideration.

At the same time, police have expressed anger that many websites have given different theories about Sushant’s death without any strong evidence. And the news websites that reported on alternate theories about his death could be questioned about their sources.

Statements of a total of 23 people have been recorded in the case so far including Sushant’s father and sisters, his CA, Rhea Chakraborty, Business Manager, PR Manager, Kushal Zaveri and many others. All these people have not only been close to Sushant but have also had a deep connection with his career.
