Hello people!! you must have read many a times that cricketers do have a lot of aggression and anger sometimes, when they are performing on the field . It leads many team opponents to have a war of words. It becomes more obvious for the reflection of that aggression , when the competing team is Pakistan .
Recently, Afridi, in his post autobiography, had said that he used to love playing against Gautam Gambhir and Shane Warne the most because of how they reacted to sledding.
He spoke about Gambhir , telling that he has no existence but a lot of attitude He said:“(Gautam Gambhir) and his attitude problem. He, who has no personality. He, who is barely a character in the great scheme of cricket. He, who has no great records, just a lot of attitude. He, who behaves like he’s a cross between Don Bradman and James Bond,”
In the match, Gambhir had also slammed a six on Afridi’s ball.India had defeated Pakistan in the inaugural edition of the ICC T20 World Cup final by five runs.
Reacting to these comments, Gambhir took to Twitter and claimed that he has an attitude towards liars, traitors, and opportunists. He said :“Someone who doesn’t remember his age how will he remember my records! ok. Shahid Afridi let me remind you one: 2007 T20 WC final, Ind vs Pak Gambhir 75 off 54 balls vs Afridi 0 off 1 ball. Most important: We won the Cup. And yes, I’ve attitude towards liars, traitors & opportunists,” Gambhir wrote.
Have a look at the tweet:
Shahid Afridi, however, is yet to respond to Gautam’s comments.
