Bollywood movie Sooryavansham starring Amitabh Bachchan has completed glorious 23 years of its release this year. It is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Suryavamsam that released in 1997.

Sooryavansham released on May 21, 1999, and since then, it has been telecasted again and again on television. Every one knows every dialogue, sequence, and song of the film by heart, all thanks to its infinite reruns on TV.

Amitabh Bachchan played a double role in the movie and his chemistry with his onscreen grandson won many hearts. Well, this young kid has now grown up into a very handsome and charming boy.

His name is Ananda Vardhan and he is a Telugu film actor. Grandson of the famous playback singer P. B. Srinivas, Ananda started his career as a child artist with film Priyaragalu.

However, he got recognition for his role in Sooryavansham. He even got the Nandi Award for Best Child Actor for his role in “Priyaragalu”.

Reportedly, has been away from acting for quite some time now. Hope to see him back in the movies.
