Kangana Ranaut is known for her outspoken nature. Recently the actress slammed Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thacker while reacting to a tweet that had Thackeray’s recent remark, wherein the politician had defended Maharashtra Police.
The tweet to which Kangana reacted read, “CM Uddhav Thackeray on Kangana Ranaut’s comment: “Those who don’t even get proper food in their state, come here, make money and then become namak-haram by comparing Mumbai with POK & defame the state, its leaders and the police department. We all are proud of Mumbai police”
Kangana Ranaut has reacted strongly to the remarks of both Thackeray and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. Directly addressing Thackeray, Kangana said that she’s her son, Aditya Thackeray’s age. She lambasted the CM and called him a product of nepotism. She tweeted,
“Raut called me Haramkhor now Uddhav called me namak haram, he is claiming I won’t get food in my state if Mumbai does not give me shelter, shame on you I am your son’s age this is how you speak to a self made single woman, Chief Minister you are the worse product of nepotism.”
In another tweet, the actress also said that she isn’t drunk on her father’s power. She wrote,
“Chief Minister I am not drunk on my father’s power and wealth like you, if I wanted to be a nepotism product I could have stayed back in Himachal, I hail from a renowned family, I didn’t want to live off on their wealth and favours, some people have self respect and self worth.”
She also took umbrage at Thackeray’s reference to ‘ganja fields’ in Himachal Pradesh and said it is actually ‘dev bhoomi’, land of the gods.
Formerly, Kangana had compared Mumbai with PoK after the Shiv Sena-led BMC demolished “illegal alterations” at her Bandra bungalow. Many from the film fraternity and politics had reacted to her remark on social media.
