Kangana Ranaut has found herself in yet another controversy as Mumbai Court ordered an FIR against her and her sister, Rangoli Chandel for spreading communal hatred with their views.
Soon after, the actress took to her Twitter account to take a dig at Maharashtra government. Posting some of her pictures during Navratri celebrations, she wrote,
“Who all are fasting on Navratris? Pictures clicked from today’s celebrations as I am also fasting, meanwhile another FIR filed against me, Pappu sena in Maharashtra seems to be obsessing over me, don’t miss me so much I will be there soon”
Extending her greetings, the actress urged everyone to “work on enhancing our energy system.”
The court order came after casting director and fitness trainer Munnawar Ali Sayyed filed a complaint against the Ranaut sisters accusing them of “trying to create hatred and communal tension.”
After which, metropolitan magistrate Jaydeo Khule in his order said, “On prima facie perusal of complaint and submissions… I found the cognizable offence has been committed by the accused. Total allegations are based upon comment on electronic media — Twitter and interviews. The accused used social media like Twitter. The thorough investigation is necessary by the expert… search and seizure is necessary in this case.”
Formerly, an FIR was filed against the actress in Karnataka for her anti-farmers tweets.
