Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is known for living with her heart on her sleeves. She is brutally honest about everything in her interviews and this is the thing that sets her apart from everyone. She is one of the boldest actresses in Bollywood right now, who never shies away from taking a stand against anything and calling a spade a spade.
Time and again, she has expressed her admiration for the work done by PM Modi and his government. This is the reason why she has often found herself at the receiving end of criticism. However, now clearing the air once and for all, Kangana Ranaut took to her twitter and wrote a hard-hitting tweet, revealing how her family has been associated with the National Congress Party and also how she has been offered to join the Congress.
She further adds that she is independent to support, whoever she wants. She wrote:
“This is to set the records straight for everyone who thinks I support Modi ji because I want to join politics,my grandfather has been congress MLA for consecutive 15 years,my family is so popular in politics back home that after Gangster almost every year I got offers from Congress,”
“From Congress, fortunately after Manikarnika even BJP offered me a ticket, I am obsessed with my work as an artist and never thought about politics so all the trolling that I get for supporting who I want to support as independent thinker need to stop,”

On Saturday, as the whole nation was celebrating Independence Day, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media and also posted a very heartfelt message. In her tweet, Kangana asked everyone to do something so productive that the Indian soil feels proud of us. She wrote:
“Aayo kuch aisa ban ke dikhayen ki iss desh ki mitti ko bhi hum pe garv ho gaye, swatantra diwas ki hardik subhkamnayen. Jai Hindi”
(Which roughly translates to: This Independence Day, let us strive to do something productive so that even the soil of this land feels proud of us. My heartfelt wishes on Independence Day)
