As the Maharashtra government on Tuesday (September 8) ordered a probe against Kangana Ranaut into alleged drug nexus, the actress replied that she is more than happy to oblige the Mumbai Police.
Kangana said that she is willing to appear for a drug test and have her call records examined. She added that if any links are found between her and the drug nexus, she will leave Mumbai forever.
She took to Twitter and wrote, “I am more than happy to oblige Mumbai Police. Anil Deshmukh, please do my drug tests, investigate my call records if you find any links to drug peddlers ever I will accept my mistake and leave Mumbai forever, looking forward to meet you.”
As the war of words is going between Kangana Ranaut and the Maharashtra government, the state government on Tuesday ordered an inquiry into the alleged drug nexus.
Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh said that the Mumbai Police will investigate Kangana Ranaut’s alleged drug links on the basis of a 2016 interview given by her ex Adhyayan Suman, in which he said that she asked him to consume drugs.
On the other hand, Adhyayan Suman has said that he does not want to be a part of the tussle between the state government and his ex Kangana Ranaut.
He tweeted, “Media channels frantically call me to talk to me please don’t call me if it is in regards to this matter I said what I had to in 2016 I have nothing else to say. I have had a huge struggle in regards to my work a dan finally I have seen a ray of hope.”
“If u can’t support me…please do not drag my name in this!! I was ridiculed back in 2016 for speaking out by these media channels and now I am sorry but I have nothing to say,” he added.
Meanwhile, Kangana has been granted Y-plus security by the Union home ministry ahead of her visit to Mumbai on September 9.
