Deepika Padukone Gave a Befitting Reply to ‘Times of India’ For Its Cleavage Article –

Actress Deepika Padukone is one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood. The beauty has come a long way since her debut. But with fame comes some consequences too.

It was a matter of shame that The Times of India (TOI), India’s biggest daily newspaper posted a video of Deepika’s cleavage, some years ago. The newspaper published a dated overhead shot of her, zeroing in on a low-cut dress. The caption read, “OMG, Deepika Padukone’s cleavage show.”

Deepika Padukone then took to twitter to tell the newspaper what she thinks about having to wake up with the entire country staring at her bosom. No, she was not the one to take it lying down and so Deepika tweeted, “YES! I am a woman, I have breasts AND a cleavage, you got a problem?.”

“Supposedly, India’s ‘LEADING’ newspaper and this is ‘NEWS’!!??” Deepika wrote in another tweet.

In another tweet, she added, “Dont talk about Woman’s Empowerment when YOU don’t know how to RESPECT Women!”

Reportedly, the actress had worn a low cut dress designed by Anaita Shroff Adajania for the trailer launch of ‘Chennai Express’. And this apparently is the second time that Times of India has reported on the dress. For the second time, they simply reframed the old story.

If the first tweet was bad, Times of India’s reply was worse. The TOI Entertainment Twitter handle replied to the actress, “@deepikapadukone , It’s a compliment! You look so great that we want to make sure everyone knew! :).”
