Director Anurag Kashyap is quite infamous for his posts on social media. Time and again, he is at the receiving end of the trolls because of his posts, which usually don’t go well with netizens.
Recently, Anurag once again became the target of trolls as he tried to take a dig at PM Narendra Modi over the recent violent clash between India and China in Ladakh.
For the unversed, 20 Indian soldiers were killed in what was termed a “violent face-off” with the Chinese army in Galwan Valley, Ladakh. The Chinese military had suffered casualties too.
While social media is flooded with tributes dedicated to the Indian soldiers, who lost their lives, Anurag took this as an opportunity to take a dig at PM Narendra Modi.
We all remember the surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army on September 29, 2016 against militant launch pads across LOC in POK. It was a retaliation move after Pakistani terrorists killed 19 Indian soldiers and is regarded as one of the biggest missions of the Indian army.
Now when 20 Indian soldiers have lost their lives, Anurag took to his social media and asked PM Modi if surgical strikes are not allowed in China. He wrote,
“एक सवाल था – यह China में सर्जिकल स्ट्राइक allowed नहीं है क्या ?”
His tweet didn’t go well with the netizens and they slammed the director. Below are some the reactions:
