The Bollywood drug nexus seems to simply get wider with each passing day. While earlier, names of celebrities like Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and designer Simone Khambatta cropped up. Now, in the latest turn of events, actress Deepika Padukone’s name has reportedly come to the fore after WhatsApp chats between Deepika and her manager Karishma Prakash discussing drugs broke out.
Soon, Deepika’s old post calling hubby Ranveer Singh ‘super drug’ has gone viral. Not only this but several photos of the actress leaving the high-end restaurant named Koko in Mumbai’s Lower Parel have surfaced the internet.
The said post is from 2019 which features Ranveer Singh’s back. The t-shirt he was wearing read, “Love is a Super Power.” Posting the picture on Instagram, Deepika wrote, “& you…my super drug!”
In Deepika’s reported WhatsApp chat with her manager Karishma, the actress specifically asked for ‘hash’ and not ‘weed’. K goes on to ask the actress, “What time are you coming to Koko?” To this, Deepika replies, “1130/12ish.”

In the latest development, NCB officials have issued summons to Bollywood actors Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, fashion designer Simone Kambhatta, Deepika’s manager Karishma Prakash, Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi and talent manager Jaya Saha for questioning in connection with drugs probe.
