On September 30, the Ministry of Home Affairs released a new set of guidelines for Unlock 5.0 stating that the cinema halls will be reopening from October 15, “with up to 50 percent seating capacity.”
Reacting to the good news, Abhishek Bachchan tweeted, “The best news of the week!!!!”
However, a troller made fun of Abhishek’s career and wrote, “But aren’t you still gonna be jobless?”
To which the actor calmly replied, “That, alas, is in your (the audiences) hand. If you don’t like our work, we won’t get our next job. So we work to the best of our abilities and hope and pray for the best.”
Earlier, a Twitter user took a dig at the actor, sighting that how did Abhishek get the next movies after Drona?
To which, the actor said, “I didn’t. Was dropped from a few films and it was very difficult to get cast. But we live in hope and keep trying, hoping and working towards our goals. You have to get up every day and fight for your place under the sun. Nothing in life comes easy.”
On the work front, Junion Bachchan was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Breathe: Into the Shadows. Next, he will be seen in The Big Bull, which was announced as one of the seven big Bollywood movies to be released on OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.
