Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide, not just the entertainment industry but the entire country is in a state of shock. Sushant was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence on Sunday. Reportedly, he was suffering from depression.
His death has left a permanent scar in Bollywod and netizens have been crucifying Karan Johar, Salman Khan and other bigwigs blaming them for the death. And now, to take it a step forward, a legal case has been filed at Bihar court against Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ekta Kapoor. The complaint alleges that Sushant was removed from seven films which compelled him to take the drastic step.
Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha has filed a complaint under sections 306, 109, 504, and 506 in connection with the actor’s death. Speaking to ANI, Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha said
“In the complaint, I have alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput was removed from around seven films and some of his films were not released. Such a situation was created which forced him to take the extreme step.”
Interestingly, Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam had also tweeted claiming that Sushant lost seven films. He wrote, “He lost the films in just six months. Why? The film industry’s ruthlessness works on a very different level. And that ruthlessness took the life of one talented person.”
Meanwhile, Mumbai police have recorded the statement of the actor’s father, sisters, Ankita Lokhande and his best friend Mahesh Shetty. Sushant’s father revealed that he wasn’t aware of his son’s depression.
Sushant made his acting debut with TV serial Jis Desh Hai Mera Dil and went on to gain fame with Pavitra Rishta. He even participated in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and moved on to make it big in Bollywood with films such as Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, PK, Sonchiriya, Chhichhore. He made his digital debut with Netflix original Drive. His last movie Dil Bechara will be releasing on Disney+Hotstar.
Rest In Peace Sushant!
