Cinema is a fickle beast – one person’s favorite character is another person’s worst nightmare. You know how there are some characters who aren’t necessarily evil but you still want to slightly kill them?
This is our list of the most slappable irritating movie characters that we really want to shut up and sod off already.
1- Maya in ‘Bodyguard’
Divya’s (Kareena Kapoor) best friend and roommate, Maya (Hazel Keech), pretends to be a docile and supportive friend but catfishes Lovely (Salman Khan) at the end by pretending to be the mysterious caller. What’s surprising is that Lovely even falls for this vain trap.
2- Susheela in ‘Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon’
Evil took a human form in Susheela (Himani Shivpuri), who was the mother of Sanjana (Kareena Kapoor) in the movie. She legitimately pesters her own daughter to marry a total nincompoop and immediately changes her mind when her choice of son-in-law turns out to be an imposter. She had the qualities of every regressive, gossipy, catty auntyji ever and was so rigidly sexist in her views, that Donald Trump would probably really hit it off with her.
3- Himesh Rehsammiya in all his movies
Himesh started acting in movies as if his voice was not enough to annoy us. His characters in the movies have unnecessary herogiri that isn’t believable at all. Every single character he has played in movies are downright irritating and will offend you at a very personal level for reasons experts are still looking for.
4- Neha/Ruchika in ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ series
She is obviously one of the most obnoxious GF can ever be. She’s the epitome of manipulative and clingy and has zero respect for personal space and a person’s individuality.
5- Chulbul Pandey in ‘Dabangg’
If you’re a Salman Khan fan, we request you to leave this piece of content right here because Chulbul Pandey’s character in the film is someone the world can totally do without. Not just his name, but everything related to him just pisses us off! He glorifies everything that’s wrong with Indian society.
6- Aakhri Pasta in ‘Housefull’
Aakhri Pasta’s (Chunky Pandey) jokes in the film were very dumb and the audience could totally do without it. Chunky once said in an interview, “The name came from Akhree Raasta (1986), Amitji’s (Amitabh Bachchan) film, and the character of Marconi from the film The Great Gambler that was played by Sujit Kumarji, so we took him as an inspiration, his clothes, that moustache, and created Aakhri Pasta. Somewhere, Aakhri Pasta was Sajid Khan’s alter ego. What Sajid couldn’t do in real life, he would make Aakhri Pasta do on screen.”
7- Guruji in ‘Sadak 2’
The movie was a big flop and wasn’t liked by the audience at all. However, some of the film’s characters were bearable but Guruji (Makrand Deshpande) was extremely annoying and made it even more difficult to watch the film. His character was beyond the understanding of the audience.
8- Shreya Randhawa in ‘SOTY 2’
Shreya Randhawa (Ananya Pandey) is a poor little rich girl who is determined to make Rohan’s (Tiger Shroff) life miserable in the film. Her character was poorly written and we doubt if such people exist in real life.
