6 Times Racism Cast An Ugly Shadow Over The Gentleman’s Game –


Whites and browns have consistently been one of the significant purpose of conversation while somebody is particularly into racism. Prejudice couldn’t be distanced totally from the game. Be it players manhandling players or the fans mishandling players, it is there.

1. Brown dog and big monkey: Siraj and Bumrah targeted at SCG 

When the onlookers followed Siraj and Bumrah who were at the boundary and after they grumbled, 6 fans were evicted.

2. One guy targets Archer 


One of the Kiwi fan racially abused Archer and said it left an awful taste. The New Zealand Cricket board apologized for the occurrence.

3. Moeen called Osama 

Moeen Ali

Moeen Ali accused an Australian player of calling him Osama, while they were on the field.  CA had to launch an investigation for the same.

4. Sarfaraz called Phehlukwayo ‘Kaale’ 


During the match ,Sarfaraz told Andile Phehlukwayo while keeping “Abey kaale, teri ammi aaj kahaan baitheen hain? Kya parwa ke aaye hai aaj?” for which he repented later. 

5. Monkeygate scandal 


During the 2008 Sydney Test, Andrew Symonds blamed Harbhajan Singh for considering him a monkey. Harbhajan was later absolved of the charges.

6. Amla called ‘terrorist’ 

Hashim Amla

Dean Jones named Hashim Amla as a ‘terrorist’ during the Test match in 2006 between South Africa and Sri Lanka. He was dismissed by the broadcasting team for his comments.
