1- Deepika Padukone
Right now, it won’t be wrong to say that Deepika Padukone is the queen of the Bollywood Industry. Deepika once revealed that she struggled with depression and it was one of the hardest phases of her life. She escaped the depression after medication and psychiatric consultation. Once she was over it, she also opened an NGO and started working towards spreading awareness about mental health and depression.
2- Kalki Koechlin
Kalki Koechlin revealed that when she was 9 years old, she was sexually abused by someone known. She further told that she was too young to know that something terrible was happening to her and neither she had any courage to talk to her parents about it. She believes that parents should talk more openly to their kids about sex and their private parts because it is important for kids to know what is wrong and they don’t feel awkward talking to their parents if anything unfortunate happens.
3- Hrithik Roshan
In an interview, Hrithik told that he used to stutter while he was a child which made his life extremely miserable. Due to his stammering, he was often being bullied at school.
4- Richa Chadha
Richa Chadha once publicly revealed that she was suffering from a strange disease called Bulimia. It was an eating disorder which occurred to her because of stress from work. The bad pattern of her sleep and unhealthy lifestyle lead to an increase in her body weight and created a lot of other problems for her as well. She started considering herself as a complete failure at one time as well.
5- Aamir Khan
During shooting for Satyamev Jayate, Aamir Khan and his team have to undergo a few group therapy after every season. The harsh realities they came across while shooting every episode and season were so dark that they started feeling depressed and negative about life.
6- Vidya Balan
During the stage of ‘Bribe Bandh’, Vidya revealed that she once bribed the officers to get a new house in Mumbai. Later, she also assured her fans and pledged that she will never get involved in any such act.
7- Ranbir Kapoor
During an interview, Ranbir Kapoor was asked if he had cheated on his partners to which he shockingly agreed to. Ranbir said, “Yes, I have, out of immaturity, out of inexperience, out of taking advantage of certain temptations, out of callousness. You realize it now when you grow up and you value relationships more.”
In an interview, Govinda admitted that he was having extra-marital affairs. He did not tell the name of the woman he was having an affair with. Luckily, Govinda managed to save his married life.

In his autobiography “Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored”, the actor revealed that he paid Rs 30,000 for the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actor for his film “Bobby”. He said that he took such a stop due to the fierce competition prevailing in the industry during that time. He was 21 when he agreed to pay the amount in exchange for the award.

Like his ex-wife Kalki, Anurag Kashyap also came forward and revealed that he was sexually assaulted during his childhood. The assaulter was a 22-year-old adult, who sexually abused him for 11 long years and it was a horrible tenure of his life. This might also be one reason behind his films being mostly based on dark contents and untold truths of society.
