The automobile industry has changed a lot, especially in the past few years. The car which used to drive Indian politicians around, Hindustan Motors Ambassador, is no longer in production. Most of the politicians have switched to more swanky and modern SUVs, sports car, or the luxury sedans.

Prateek Yadav
Politician Mulayam Singh Yadav’s youngest son Prateek Yadav bought a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder a few years back. It is powered by a 5.2-Litre V10 engine that churns out astonishing 610HP and a peak torque of 560 Nm.
Udhayanidhi Stalin
He is the only politician to own a Hummer in the country. He is the son of Stalin and the grandson of Karunanidhi, the DMK chief. Udhayanidhi has acted in few movies and is now an active politician. He owns a Hummer H3 which comes equipped with a 3.5-Litre L52 engine which churns out 220HP of power and 305 Nm.
Ram Kadam
This BJP MLA is known for owning luxury sedans since long ago. Kadam owns many luxury sedans such as Mercedes E350 Cabriolet, Rolls Royce Ghost, Jaguar XJL and a Bentley which makes his collection worth a glance! All of the cars mentioned above are true expensive luxuries and can’t be owned by anyone easily.
Narendra Mehta
BJP’s Narendra Mehta gifted his wife, Suman Mehta, Lamborghini Huracan. He got it custom painted to Arancio Borealis shade in order to match the saffron colour of BJP. But as soon as Mrs Mehta started driving the Huracan, she crashed it as she was not able to handle the power of this Lambo’s V10 engine! The car can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
Pramod Madhwaraj
Pramod Madhwaraj is an MLA from Udipi in Kerala. He is seen driving around the city in his expensive possession which is the Rolls Royce Ghost. This car costs around ₹5.8 crore and is not easy to buy as well. This one belonging to Mr Madhwaraj carries a blue shade with a distinct hood shade. The hood of this car is painted in a metal finish.
Chiranjeevi
A well known Telugu actor and a politician, Chiranjeevi, has got various ultra-luxury cars in his garage. One of them is a Rolls Royce Phantom, the most expensive car from the British automaker. It is powered by a 6.8-Litre V12 engine which generates 480HP of power and a peak torque of 720Nm. The car also features Chiranjeevi’s signature 1111 registration number.
Pawan Kalyan
Pawan Kalyan is the younger brother of Chiranjeevi. Actor turned politician formed a political party called Jana Sena and also campaigned for BJP. He owns a Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG SUV which is powered by a 5.4-Litre V8 engine.
Rajeev Chandrashekhar
Rajiv Chandrasekhar is a multi-millionaire and is currently serving as Member of Parliament in the upper house of the Indian Parliament. He owns a number of luxury rides including India’s only Ferrari Dino Lamborghini Murcielago Barchetta, Ferrari F355 Spyder, BMW M5 (E60) and Hummer H2.
Jagan Mohan Reddy
Jagan Mohan Reddy is the son of the former CM of Andhra Pradesh, YS Raja Rajasekhara Reddy. Mr Reddy is seen riding his Jaguar XJL quite often. This luxury sedan comes in two engine options. You can either have it in 3-litre diesel or a 5-litre petrol engine. We are not sure about which one does Jagan Mohan own.
Nikhil Kumaraswamy
Nikhil is a well-known politician from Karnataka. He is the son of H.D. Kumaraswamy, former CM, Karnataka. Kumaraswamy is a businessman and the leader of Janta Dal (secular). He uses a Lamborghini Gallardo for his commute and the one you see in the above picture belongs to him only.
